Join a well-established legal practice seeking an experienced IP/Trademark Legal Secretary to provide high-level support in a dynamic intellectual property environment. Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Manage trademark dockets and deadlines, prepare reports, maintain attorney calendars (PCLaw), and ensure compliance with USPTO and international filing requirements.
  • Assist attorneys with trademark applications, clearance searches, research, evidence gathering, correspondence, agreements, and preparation of USPTO filings.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, staff, and outside organizations to obtain information and support ongoing trademark matters.
  • Prepare billing entries and maintain accurate paper and electronic files, while utilizing Excel to format, edit, update, and track data.
  • Prior IP/trademark experience required, including knowledge of USPTO procedures, international filings, docketing systems (Alt Legal preferred), excellent writing and grammar skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
